- Talk to people about LGBT issues. This is one of the most important things to do today. Statistics show that people are more likely to be anti-gay and homophobic if they do not personally know someone who is gay or lesbian.
- Write your Representatives, Senators, and local politicians. They need to know that you support LGBT Americans. For a list of your national representatives and their e-mails go to http://www.house.gov/ and http://www.senate.gov/.
