It's Your Turn, Cincinnati Bengals: Tell Fans "It Gets Better"

----------

I love seeing the sports community finally starting to show its support for LGBT Americans and wanted to do my part to help rid homophobia from sports.

Tell the Bengals you want them to make a video here.
Since I'm a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan, I decided to create a Change.org petition to persuade the NFL team to create an "It Gets Better" video. The Bengals should jump on the opportunity to publicly show that they support ALL people- including its LGBT fans. I mean, come on, the Bengals are no stranger to publicity. Bengal Chad Johnson (err Chad Ochocinco) had a reality television show and competed on Dancing with the Stars.

It only takes a few minutes to read and sign the petition here. Here's the full text:
Growing up in Cincinnati, I have always been a huge Bengals fan. I've stuck with the team when it had near winless seasons, when its players were involved in off-the-field problems, and even when it picked up RB Larry Johnson right after he was caught using anti-gay slurs. [Johnson later apologized.]
Now, it's time for them to stick with me and make an "It Gets Better" video to support its LGBT fans. Numerous sports teams have contributed to the "It Gets Better Project", and the Cincinnati Bengals should follow suit.
I just started the petition "Tell the Cincinnati Bengals to make an "It Gets Better" video to support LGBT fans" and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name. Every time someone signs, an e-mail is sent to the Cincinnati Bengals urging them to support the cause. Who Dey!

You can visit http://www.itgetsbetter.org/ for more information about the "It Gets Better Project" and to watch other "It Gets Better" videos.
