
Judge Walker ruled in Federal court on Wednesday that California's anti-gay Proposition 8 is unconstitutional because it "fails to advance any rational basis in singling out gay men and lesbians for denial of a marriage license." This will eventually be heard by the US Supreme Court on appeal, which could have significant national ramifications. Read the complete ruling here.
