OutGames in Copenhagen Distrupted By Violence

Yesterday during the OutGames (weeklong LGBT athletic competition, hosted this year in Copenhagen, Denmark), the men's 4x200 relay was disrupted by two bombs thrown onto the track. One man was injured and sent to the hospital. Another bomb landed in the stadium about 90 minutes later, this time hurting no one but delaying events for a few hours. One suspect has been apprehended, and police are searching for others.

Copenhagen is known to be one of the world's most gay-friendly cities.
