Rhode Island Favors Marriage Equality

A new poll released by Brown University shows that 60% if registered voters in Rhode Island the legalization of gay marriage while just 31% oppose such legislation. Rhode Island, which is the only state in New England that is absent in recent marriage equality news, has introduced legislation every year since 1997. The Democratic leaders in the house and senate oppose marriage equality as well as the Republican Governor Don Carcieri.
