NEW HAMPSHIRE GOV. TO SIGN GAY MARRIAGE BILL

New Hampshire Governor John Lynch recently announced that he will sign legislation that legalizes gay marriage, making it the sixth state that recognizes same-sex marriages, once changes are made that gives churches more protections.

Lynch said that while his personal views have been shaped by his "own experience, tradition, and upbringing," he knows that his responsibility as governor of New Hampshire is "to consider this issue through a broader lens."

  1. It's refreshing to hear a politician who understands that his or her own personal beliefs should not be the basis for their political decisions. What one person grows up believing is not what others grow up to believe, and thus are not in the best interest of the people. I just wish everyone else was as reasonable.
