New Documentary "Outrage" Focuses On Closeted Gay Conservative Politicians

"Outrage," a new documentary by filmmaker Kirby Dick, focuses on the secret lives of closeted gay politicians, especially those who are publicly antigay and conservative.  It features men who have had sexual relationships with prominent politicians such as Florida Governor Charlie Crist, former Senator Larry Craig, George W. Bush's 2004 campaign manager and former Republican National Committee chairman Ken Mehlman, former New York City Mayor Ed Koch, and Fox News anchor Shepard Smith.

The film's main issue is hypocrisy.  How can these politician lead closeted gay lives but still repeated vote AGAINST GAY RIGHTS issue?  Why do they do it?  Out Congressman Barney Frank (D-Mass.) said that while "there is a right to privacy, there's no right to hypocrisy."  He says in the trailer that the people who make the laws should be subject to the laws.

Do you think it is okay for these antigay politicians to be outed?  Why do they feel like it is important to vote antigay?  Can they can stay in the closet and still be pro-gay rights?
